2016 Da Vinci Schools Summer Conference
Da Vinci Schools are dedicated to preparing students for college completion and 21st-century jobs through real-world, Project Based Learning that is aligned to workforce needs. Based on feedback and interest from Da Vinci visitors over the past several years, we have designed a series of in-depth dives into key practices at Da Vinci: Project Based Learning, Mastery Based Grading, creating effective industry partnerships, and building and sustaining positive student cultures. These workshops are available to public, charter, and independent schools interested in developing their own expertise and expanding their educational practice.

Tuesday July 26th, Industry Partnerships and Building Positive Student Culture
Wednesday July 27th, Mastery Based Grading
Designed for staffs or critical groups of teachers from schools who are interested in doing MBG in the 16-17 school year. Will focus on the paradigm shift necessary for a pivot to MBG from traditional, along with the nuts and bolts for how to do it. (Highly recommended that small teams from schools attend together to better build a critical mass at the school ready to institute the practice, but individuals are of course welcome as well!)
