Da Vinci Schools Linked Learning Offerings Spring 2016
Da Vinci Schools are dedicated to preparing students for college completion and 21st-century jobs through real-world, Project Based Learning that is aligned to workforce needs. Based on feedback and interest from visitors in the fall, the visits over the course of the spring 2016 semester have been designed to provide a more in-depth dive into two key practices at Da Vinci: Project Based Learning and Mastery Based Grading. We will also once again host visitors for our Student Presentations of Learning.

Mastery Based Grading
(Highly recommended that small teams from schools attend together to better build a critical mass at the school ready to institute the practice, but individuals are of course welcome as well!)

Student Presentations of Learning
Wednesday June 1st Student Presentations of Learning, Da Vinci Science 9:15-11:45
Focus: Observations of Student Presentations of Learning, followed by a conversation with Da Vinci school leaders about POLs. Presentations of Learning are a performance assessment tool designed to assess deeper learning. They are held at the end of every semester.
